Brushless RC 10 Gold Pan
Does anyone know the motor I need for a vintage rc 10 gold pan? I want to convert it to brushless but dont want a very powerful motor because I dont want to strip out the trans. I need one that is as powerful as a stock Tamiya Hornet motor, which is type 540. If someone could tell me the amount of kv a brushed 540 motor is, then I can find a brushless motor with the same power.

I'd think a 17.5 motor would be good for that buggy. The RC10 Gold Pans actually use the original Stealth transmission design which is still used on Associated 2WD vehicles today, which means parts are not too much of a problem.
