Default Looking for CENTER DIFF! Please help...

Hey everyone, I need a little help. I am in the process of converting my CEN GST into Brushless using SMRC Innovations Plate kit.

I am looking for help finding a center differential. I need either of these two:

1. Ofna Mutilator center differential

OR

2. Cen Matrix TR Arena center differential

IF anyone has one and would like to sell one, I'm ready to buy. Or if you can point me in the right direction of who sells one I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance everyone.

Mutilator parts...

Bevel gears and washers: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=....c0.m270.l1313

Diff case: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=....c0.m270.l1313

Several sources for outdrives (weren't any on ebay): http://www.google.com/search?q=ofna+40005

Drive pins: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=....c0.m270.l1313

Cross pins: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=....c0.m270.l1313

Bearings: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=....c0.m270.l1313

Outdrive o-rings: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=....c0.m270.l1313

Spur gear: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=....c0.m270.l1313 (only one at the time of posting, better be quick).

Gaskets: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=....c0.m270.l1313

And lastly you'll need a M4x4 set screw in order to close the diff casing after inserting the drive pin.

Hope that helps, that's everything for a complete Mutilator diff.

Foxy - Thanks for the links! I didn't realize i'd have to actually build the center differential, but I gotta do what i gotta do since I can;t seem to find any of the other diffs anywhere else?

One question...On those bevel gears. Are those beefed up any? I just have had a lot of broken bevel gears in my past with brushless systems and wasn't sure how stout those bevel gears are. Just sitting here thinking the Mamba Monster ESC & Castle 2200KV motor out of a BL E-Revo will be working that center diff like a maniac and curious if you think it'll hold up? Guess theres only one way to find out lol.

Do you think it would be better to hold off and wait/watch e-bay for a complete center diff? Building this one will cost at least $50+ and I could swear a few months back i saw several Ofna Diffs for sale for like 30 bucks? But now I can;t seem to find any anywhere besides building one like you suggested.

Most ofna diffs are around the $80 mark new, but I highly doubt you will see one on ebay complete.

OFNA diffs are tough as nails, I doubt you'll be able to damage the bevels in the center. Maybe in front or rear but not the center.

Have no fear, OFNA does drivetrains very well indeed, the Mutilator center will hold up comfortably to 6S 2200kv.

Pro tip, put 50-100k oil in it.

DO you know where I can find the M4x4 set screw?

I need that screw set and the drive cups still. SO far after buying the other things linked i'm $85.00 into it. Wow more expensive than I thought, it'll be about $100 to complete this Diff, whew! Wish they just sold it somewhere and I still have to build it and buy the oil also. Oh well though I think the GST is going to be nasty when it's finished, i'm predicting the front/rear diffs won;t last long and will need to be upgraded to Nemesis Diffs. That is unless CEN Wised up and beefed them up already but my old GST when they first came out had some weak diffs and the Nemesis diffs were beefed up and stronger.

I feel your pain, unfortunately, it's rare to find them unless you get someone parting one out. Mainly due to the fact that nobody breaks an entire diff. [&:]

Screws... http://www.throttlestore.com/acme_30...9.aspx?lang=EN

If you don't want to use that store, just google 'm4x4 grub screw'.

Haha So I bought almost every part and did not get the grease or grub screws yet, so I search e-nbay and BAM a full center diff for like 30 bucks shipped and man I just spend near $80 to build this thing lol.
