I have recalibrated several times, it did make noise in the beginning just not very loud, now it doesn't. I've tried using the same settings from one of my other vapor escs and that didn't work.

The esc itself doesnt beep, it actually does something to the motor to make the beeps. No motor, bad motor or bad connections and it wont beep. Does the LED on the esc respond (change color) with throttle input? Not familiar with the HPI versions but castle is yellow at idle, green under throttle, red under reverse when calibrated properly. Did you try swapping in one of he other esc's to eliminate the motor, motor wire, etc?

The motor does beep, ive tried it with a sidewinder v2 and another hpi vapor, the lights work, when I give a bit of throttle it flashes green and when a full throttle it is solid green, same for reverse just red and neutral is yellow

Thought maybe you had a bad connection somewhere after disconnecting the esc to hook it up to castle link. But that all checks out. Did you update the firmware while in castle link? I doubt that's the issue, but if you did you could try a previous version or just reloading the current version. The symptoms you describe is what usually happens when the brain board is ok but the motor drive side is bad. Sounds like a call to HPI or castle tech support is needed though, maybe they can help sort it out without sending the esc in.

I have narrowed it down to the esc, their are no updates for vapor, it won't let me reinstall that software like u said I have already checked that, pushing it does nothing
