TL01 buggy conversion
I was wondering if it would be possible to convert my TL01 touring car to a buggy such as the Tamiya Blazing Star which suppossedly uses the TL01 chassis. I can't find any information on such a conversion anywhere although my brother said he had seen it somewhere. any help would be appreciated.

You're right.
Well almost, not the "Blazing Star", but both the "Baja Champ" and the "Baja King" buggies have a chassis called TL01B. B for "Buggy"...
The main difference is part-tree C where the suspecsion arms are cast. The "B" has longer. Driveshafts are of course longer too. 77 vs 39 mm.
And the front uprights are the same as the old TA01.
Top this up with a buggy body, and there you have it!
Incidentally, the "Wild Dagger" uses the same C-parts as TL01B.

TL01 buggy conversion
I turned my tlo1 into a buggy, but with its short arms, and then i ended up just getting a baja champ...
The only differences i noticed (besides the longer arms/shafts) are:
-the springs are stiffer to accomodate the different angle the longer arms use
-the back small little bumper thing is a graphite plate on the tlo1B
