Default battery for sc10/motor and esc

just curious...

What kind of battery can fit in an SC10??? I wanted to know the max size before I buy this, just to make sure that a good, decent-sized pack can fit.

Also, will the mamba max pro or the tekin rs work better???

Thanks!

Any normal size 2s Lipo will fit and I would go with the tekin rs ESC over the castle any day!

It all depends on what you're planning on doing with it. If you're going to be running any of the typical sensored 1/10 motors, the RS will be great. ThunderbirdJunkie has an RS Pro with a Trinity 10.5 in his SCT, and it's awesome. On the flip side, the MMP can handle a bigger power motor, but the MMP has some flaws that make it almost not worth considering (like a weak BEC) and it's almost more cost-effective to get an RX8 over the MMP.

Any ROAR-approved pack will fit the SC10, but some batteries may have their leads exiting in a goofy spot.
