I ran a 6800kv motor in my Rustler for a while. On 3s I tried several different gearing options and the only one that let me run the whole battery without heat issues was 12/90. The motor eventually gave out due to being overheated so often.

I never clocked it, but it was completely insane. I am not sure I was ever able to reach full throttle.

I'll have to try it, our hobby shop has a speed run comp and I want to try to be the fastest slash there.
