Im getting a new buggy... Suggestions?
Okay so i currently have a brushess 4x4 Traxxas slash and i want to switch over to buggies. I dont know much about them but i wan't one that can reach speeds over 50mph, has to be durable, brushless, either 1/10 or 1/8 scale.I heard the kyosho rb5 was a good one, just not sure which one to get. I also like the hpi vorza or team associated buggies. Which one would be best suited for my needs? I race indoors at a dirt track.
Thanks,
Brandon

If you want an RTR go for this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBAAF&P=0
Or many people like this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXBWUV&P=ML
Either one will top out at around 45-50mph stock on 4s lipo, butyou canlater gear them up a fair bit. (they come geared some what conservatively) and when that isn't enough for you you can upgraded with http://www.hobbypartz.com/07e-c-xerun-150a-sd.html
which will allow you to run 6s lipo and give you more power than you could ever hope for, need, or handle. I personaly own the buggy in the first link and run it on 6s lipo. its extremely durable, and very capable of putting the power down efficiently. I know others who also swear by the durability of the ofna.
In my opinion it is 6 one way and half a dozen the other. I was recently in your boat and was fortunate enough to trade for my buggy as a roller and choose my own electronics, buying used is almost never a bad option in rc. There you have it. you won't find anything as fast or as durable as these buggies, for a better price unless you find a used rc8e, and even then its questionable.

I'd say the OFNA LX2e RTR (or rolling chassis, whichever you want) for that. OFNA cars are extremely durable. My Nexx10SC went about 10 feet in the air, cased (landed middle chassis on corner of jump) another jump, and kept going. It has also put up against the test of time. 1 year, and only 6 dollars of parts were needed. That buggy with Novak's Ballistik 4.5 550 motor would run like a stabbed rat. (note the quote from top gear)
