Default SC10 2wd axle problem

While I was taking off the rear wheels to wash them, I noticed the axle was hot. I thought nothing of it and then kept running the truck. I broke two dog bones and one hinge pin broke and melted into one of the wheels. I had a hinge pin melt into a wheel twice. I'm thinking these two problems are from the axle being hot. Maybe the slipper clutch is too tight? The motor temperature seems all right.

Wow Umm I never heard of that problem before. It is very possible that your ball bearing might be the cause of the problem.
