Need to go faster! Ofna LX1e / Mamba Monster
So I am looking for more speed. Would like to hit 80ish MPH. What do i need to do/buy?
What i currently have:
- Ofna LX1e
- Mamba Monster 2200kv / esc
- Sky Lipo 5000mah 40c

What are your temps like? If they're under 140 degrees, then I would think it's safe to go up to 6s. That should get you pushing 70mph, but that's just an estimate.

What is the stock pinion? Where can i buy a 22t? Will it work with my stock spur gear?
Also is there any upgrades i can buy for this buggy?

I think it's a 14t that comes with it. And yes it will work with the stock spur. And you find pinions at tower hobbies or any rc hobby website really, makes sure the pinion is for a 5mm shaft.. And I wouldnt upgrade anything until you break it

Ok sounds good. Where can parts be bought for this thing? I noticed im missing the rear 2 screws on the steering servo and cant find anything searching google.

What!. are you sure? if that's the case you should be going way faster on 4s. get a good 6s battery as your next choice. then go from there if it isn't fast enough for ya

well next step is 6s. But for that gearing it doesn't seem all too right. just cycle the batt more and find out what tooth # the spur is

well i flipped it at about 60 into a curb and sent it sailing. Buggy is a hot mess. Pulled all my electronics, think im going to grab a LX2e now
