Default Help with winter Slash Racing

Hey all, I'm getting into racing mod 2wd slash, I race in the winter on an indoor clay track. Right now is practice, and I am having trouble getting the truck to handle. Tires, suspension, and set up help would be great. I am running the Castle Sidewinder SCT 3800Kv system, with stock stuff rightnow but plan to upgrade.

Thanks!!

The Slash shocks has multiple holes it can screw into along the A arms. The holes it comes screwed into stock are set for softer surfaces. I'm guessing a clay track is a bit harder, you can choose different holes to screw the shocks into. I can't remember exactly which holes they recommend for harder surfaces, but its in the manual

2 Words; Throttle control.

And, is the track soft? Soft track; stiffer shock springs and oils. Stiff, slippery track; soft shocks and oils.
Mine's running 100% stock, and it works great.

Best advice would be to talk to other people who run at the track to see what they run, or try and see what they use
