Brushless motor help
I'm looking for a replacement motor but the two motors I'm looking at show they produce the same watts (1600), but one motor is 1660kv and the other is 1900kv. I was wondering which would be the better of the two motors since they produce the same power? I'm a little confused by this. Thanks!
Both motors are 2 poll.
1660kv motor will take 6s
1900kv motor will take 4s

RE: Brushless motor help
A generic 3674 can 1500kv was in it stock and it didn't warm up at all even with no heatsink. Its geared pretty low.
But my question still stands.

RE: Brushless motor help
id say go with the 1900kv, cause a motor on 6s will ruin the diffs. stick with a power system comparable to the stock one, on 4s.
The shredder is heavier than the 1/8 versions. And while you "can" run a 6s system on them, i wouldnt recommend it. Just asking for broken diffs and other driveline parts. Just wasnt made to handle that much torque.

RE: Brushless motor help
Cool thanks for your input. I don't have plans for 6s mainly because I don't have that ability currently but the extra speed of the 1900kv motor should do just fine. Now I have to get new tires cause the foams are jacked in the factory ones and when I remove the tires they tear on me.
