100 points for 1st with 5 point reduction per place
1 bonus point for Top Qualifier
5 bonus points for entering all 8 events (must enter all 8 races in at least 1 class)

Rules:
1/10 scale 2WD SPEC Short Course Truck;
Motor/ESC/Gearing:
Any commercially available 17.5 turn or 13.5 turn Motor may be used.*
Any ESC may be used.
*** When using 13.5 turn motor ESC must remain in Blinky Mode(NO boost and Zero timing)***
Reverse may NOT be used during a race. Penalties for using reverse will apply up to and including loss of lap, points, or disqualification depending on frequency of offense.
Any pitch gear and gear ratio may be used
Batteries:
Any 2s lipo may be used.
Up to 7s Nickel battery may be used.
Body:
Must use 1/10th scale Lexan or Polycarbonate Short Course Truck style body.
Chassis:
Must use 1/10th scale 2WD Short Course Truck native or conversion Chassis.
Tires:
Must use rubber tire. No foam tires allowed.
No Sharp pin tires allowed due to carpet wear. Race director has final discretion.
***The use of a 17.5 turn motor is recommended. 13.5 turn motor allowance is set in place due to the number of RTR trucks including 13.5 turn motors. If parity cannot be met with the above rules additional restrictions may be set in place for those choosing to use 13.5 turn motors.***

This is something I've always wanted to ask a race director: Why is it that reverse is not allowed at race tracks?
I can see that using reverse at the wrong time, i.e. in traffic, could cause secondary collision, but used with discretion I would think it would be usefull in just backin yourself out of a barrier. What is the rationale for No Reverse?
