Default Is this a good deal for a 2wd SCT Brushless

Tower has a DESC210 Brushless with a Onyx 2s 5000mah Lipo for 399.99

Does anyone know how the Durango DESC210 is for racing and all around use andwould you buy one of those or a team associated 10SCRS (their brushless version)?

The one i see at my local track is great. Durango makes race-spec kits so it'll be great.

hey, just recently got back into the r/c seen an bought the desc210 from the local hobbie shop for 199.00 then 55.00 for a 2s 5000 miah lipo an 55.00 for an onyx 150 chager. over all its a pretty good truck jumps well pretty fast about 30 to 35 mph. just isnt much for upgrades or hop ups for it yet. but for the money great truck. i will tell you this if you does the mid engine mount on it buy the 4th idler gear its really spin out happy with the 3 gear set-up it comes with lol. but makes for some awesome drifting once you get the hang of it.

Please don't hijack other threads, especially when they are 10 months old now.

that is so rude...... as if u do that....

collector, no wonder there is not as many new people around here if that's the welcome they get....

Pull ur heads in, I bet he was linked to this forum and just posted without checking the date... who cares
and what do u mean about hijacking???? do u seriously think he is trying to hijack this thread......lol

Can u please explain (so other people don't upset u) what the issue is?
obviously u have such a big problem with this guys post so much infact u felt u just had to make a post expressing this. (just like im doing now)
Does it really get on ur nerves when people post on 10month old threads?
Does it really get on ur nerves when someone asks about a desc210 then someone replys with there experience with there desc210?????

I don't mean to be rude but that guy has more of a reason to be posting here as he actually own one.

just take is as face value, don't blow it out of context. im just telling u off for been very rude to new members. I have no other problems at all with u, and generally respect ur input

I tried to be polite about it. Sorry, it seems to have sounded rude.

I get this kind-of thing from other fourms. When I was a n00b on my first fourm (not this one), I brought back a dead thread, and people got really angry and started to curse at me. I don't want this to happen to him.

It's all good m8, fair point.....

see I'm different.... Sometimes its good to revive old threads, especially if the post is relevant. That way all the good information is in one place.... I'm also a bit sad that there does not seem to be as much forum activity these days... Mind u there are some awesome 1/5 projects been built ATM.
