I am just waiting for my car to arrive!!! I have been wanting this thing since it came out, and am anxious to get it! I want to try it on the local short course track in my town. From what JANG said in his video review, ride height is easily adjusted. It was actually his review that sold me on the car. I watched another review and even though the guy didn't like Ken Block, he had great things to say about the WR8.

I did read a couple of posts on a forum where folks were complaining about the ESC's failing. Anyone here have an issue with their ESC's?

As i read from the first post in this thread it is a Mod. 1-pinion you need, the one you are linking to will not mesh correctly. Search for mod 1 on the TH-site and you will find plenty.

I guess so, i am saying this without owning a car like this so i am not sure. But it has the right specs so it shouldn't be any issues with it.

Im looking for some wider wheels and tires as my WR8 seems to be really top heavy and easily flips on pavement. Any suggestions? Also any other bodies people are running. I saw the VW one.

I'm just curious if anyone has had any luck getting any wheels and tires for this car. most of the LHS in my area don't have anything that would fit the car, so I'm a little leery about wearing down the stock tires too much. Has anyone had any luck with third party? Or is it pretty much just try to get the HPI stock tires, or the one from the rally? Thanks.

Suspension is a bit short, but it is capable of handling a short course track obviously with bottom out. I made chassis skids outta some automotive body protectant decals.

6S with the same motor I have in my Vorza, but in the WR8? Wow! That would be completely insane. 3S with the stock motor has always been enough for me. Burns through tires like mad already.

You'll telling me haha I done 6s for fun once and I ended up with no tyres left. Found out tho that the diffs etc can handle 6s.

I need your help cose i want to change some parts. I want to change the motor for a good one, so witch one to order, i mainly drive off road, and make some race with friends. If you can tell me with motor is good and if i need extra part to put it in place.
I also want to go aluminium for make the car a bit stiffer, i know Team Integy (expensive) so what do you think of these parts : https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/Mxfan...08.4.35.wxBSrV

If you have a link to buy some aluminium part cheaper thant Team Integy it will be great

Thank you very much for you time and help
