Default My buddies new Half Slash

Only 9 days old and my bashing buddy did a number on his Slash Ultimate. Going full out, misses the ramp and plows a curb head on. Looks gruesome, but all it took to get her running again was a chassis, servo arm, drive shaft and slipper shaft. We worked on it last nightfor a few hoursand it is back in the dirt cartwheeling its way to happiness. Not too bad for a few noobs with a combined total of about a month of RC experience.

I have not seen a chassis that perfectly snapped in a long time. Great job.

agree

wow is all I will say even the vertical pieces that add strength are snapped clean. Kinda reminds me of the guy that put almost 2 90 degree bends in a savage from a collision lol.

Pretty cool. You have to wreck for a long time to break one of those chassis.

I am surprised that happen.. I have the slash 4x4 same set up and boy its a wonderful truck isn't it? I bash it all day hitting car tires rocks etc nothing has happen like this to me yet. The slash is a super fast truck with brushless motor and a lipo battery and this can happen with those speeds.

Go figure, traxxas comes out with a NEW model, the Half-Slash, and it shares 95% of parts with other models.
When will traxxas come out with an entirely new model

LOL.

That must have been a heck of an impact. Havent seen many snapped chassis before. Id bet the body doesnt look as good either.
