Default Slow charging?

Anyone know anything about slow charging for like 12 to 16 hours with nimh? I'm thinking if you had the time it would be a better charge for the batteries. Any info would be great.

Default RE: Slow charging?

I don't think any of the battery manufacturers recommend slow/trickle charges on NiMH batteries. They need to be charged at 3.5 - 5.0amps.

From what I remember, could be wrong, but the reason for a slow charge was to help recondition the NiCd batteries when the started to develop a memory.
