Brushless Motor
Sup. I bought an Ez run 8.5t brushless motor system. It looks nice.. I was wondering do you solder the leads from the esc directly to the motor? I ask because it doesn't look like there is any way to put connectors on the motor and there are three leads so you couldn't put a connector on anyways.
Thanks

RE: Brushless Motor
personally I'd order some 3mm bullets(and get some heat shrink tube) and solder them on cause if you ever need to move the RC its in that can be a pain.
I'll be honest on my 1st EZ-run I soldered it straight to the motor, and I wouldn't recommend it. Eventually I went and got bullet connectors
I think I cut the wire in half and soldered half onto the motor, and half on the ESC when I put the bullets on.
Do they still give the 3 bullet connectors with no matching set(I think it was 3 female)? I never understood why they gave them as I got them in the 2 I ordered

RE: Brushless Motor
DON'T cut the motor wires! Motors with leads coming out of the can have the wires coming right off the windings. If they're cut, the motor will never run right again. Get bullets to put on the ESC motor wires. Be careful to make each wire the exact same length as best you can. If you're not really good with soldering, get someone to do it for you.
