Default Servo installation

I got a MG996R servo as an upgrade (using the term loosely), for the stock servo for my Redcat Caldera XB 10e. I'm new to RC cars and am installing my first servo and have a problem.

The servo horns are pre-drilled. The screws that came with the servo are only for mounting. Do I just drill the holes in the horns to fit my existing screws? Obviously it would be easier to use the stock horns. However, I read somewhere this was a bad idea. Is that correct?

Either way the servo will do its job. Just mount whichever horn is easier!

what i do is take a screwdriver and stick it partcially in the predrilled holes on the horn and twist the screw driver and move it around to make the opening bigger so you can fit your existing screws in it. HOPE IT HELPS!
