Hi there. A rally car is what you're looking for, and I know of a great one. Here is a great quality one made by Traxxas.
I'd also get a better battery and charger.

I'm running a Traxxas Rustler vxl and its within your price point, fast and reasonably solid. Parts are also really cheap and easy to locate

Be prepared to replace some stock plastic pieces. Especially on a Rustler but RPM makes great cheap replacements. and Rustlers are a lot of fun.
