What scale is that rc?
370/380 motor can be a bit small for a 1/10.

How did you break in the motor? That could be the whole problem.

That is proper. Do you know how many RPMs the old motor had?

well i finally took it apart and im pissed the com is way shorter than a normal 370 the brushes are almost dead already the bushings are shot and the slots in the com where packed with copper ive been in this hobby for 8 years and have never seen a motor wear out that fast ever i broke it in the same way i always have
the damb thing has only run 2 1/2 packs and its almost garbage
one of the brushes was even put in at a angle i will NEVER buy anything from atomik again in dont care if it was only $10 its crap and proves they dont care about there name
ive seen motors last longer when there owners dont even bother with break in
so i put in my hand wound 18t com and old bushings and it flys at least till the brushes quit probley soon the way there going

Huh, very odd indeed. Did you get in touch with Atomik Support and see if you could get a replacement?
