Default XERUN 150 and dx3s, sr300

with this spectrum dx3s setup, I can't get the throttle trim low enough to allow the motor to stay still at neutral throttle. in other words, the car would just take off. with the tactic rtr radio -- that comes with aquacraft boats -- I have to lower the throttle trim 3/4 or more of the way down before the motor stays still. but it will stay still. it is usable. won't just take off.

I've already calibrated the esc throttle twice.

1. could this be a motor timing issue?
2. or still a throttle calibration issue?

thank you.

I would THINK it would be cal issues. If possible, do a Factory Reset on it. Make sure your transmitter throttle trim is CENTERED. Then try re-calibrating the throttle end points with the recomended procedure. See if that fixes it. Oh, you DO have the throttle and steering plugged into the right channels on your receiver don't you?

If the above 2 don't work out try this
Put your radio channel to reverse, and set the ESC to motor reverse. Dunno why, but that makes a difference sometimes.
