roof rack
Well my honcho should be here tomorrow and im all excited!
Id like to know if anyone knows of a way to make a roof rack. I was kinda thinkin wire clothes hanger, but that might be a bit flimsy?
Any ideas? Anyone make one for themselves or know a good strong way of doing one?
Thanks!

Ok I just want it to get all bent up.
Any suggestions on how to make a bungee cord? My wife has those hair tie things all over the place. A rubber band would allow too much movement I think.
So far what I have to be tied down is a little screw driver a samuri sword and one of those little bitty cars, I think they where called mighty machines. Ill get a pic of them in a minute.

Just heads up, scale accessories they really mess up the handling, and it does not take much to brake them.
things mounted on the roof will make a noticeable difference in how easy it it to rollover and will be the first ones smashed.
I would recomend driving it for a good 12 months untill u get the feel of it, and then go nuts with accessories.... Or run 2 bodies
one for scale driving 4x4 then one for bashing.
id hate to see u spend loads of time and money fitting all these accessories just to have them smashed off....
example, le, last compare I went to. One guy had a brand new scx10 jeep. Jacked up with a lift kit, scale alloy wheels, roof rack full of accessories..... It looked awesome
but on the track it was worse than a dead stock SCX10 it had so manny rollovers and left bits and pieces all over the track (top of gas bottle, grill from BBQ, drink cooler.... Expensive mistake but it did look cool like the YouTube videos u see

Got the scx10 today finally!!
Took it for a test run and its awesome! Why didnt I get this thing sooner!
I started making a roof rack, found a sheet of tin thats pretty strong for how thin it is. The roof rack currently is like a rough draft and in the 'prototype' stage haha.
Final one will be painted and not have bad edges.
