Default winch theory?

Does any one make a servo that spins 360° rather than 60 & 90° ?
Couldnt I get one of those and wire it up to turn off and on by a switch that runs off a different battery and use that as a winch? It wouldnt be as scale as the warn 9.5cti that I have in my ebay cart but could be stronger right?

well if you have a servo centered, and take the gear off the pot in it the servo should spin in any direction you want as it will never hit the point. Just be careful as some servos might have a thing to stop it from free spinning on a gear. Can test this theory out on a junk servo if you have one laying around (Or I could probably in a day or 2 after I'm off work)

Now if you want a small remote controlled switch there is http://www.pololu.com/product/2802 I use an older model on my SCX10, and TT01e for the LEDs, and it works great
