Default RC10 B5 questions....

I have several Axial Crawlers that I have modified, but I'm pretty new to the racing buggies. I was just given a brand new Team Associated RC 10 B5 team kit. I'm just trying to get some advice as to what the best set-up for motors, esc and servo.

Thanks

I use to run a sc toro 120a and 4000kv 550 4 pole motor on a b4 for 2yrs on 3s lipo with a flysky gt2b dont know what the servo was got it with truck but the price and reliability was great.

also used a sc8 hobbywing esc too which was just as good aswell the toro motors also have a 4600kv if you wanted to run 2s lipo for racing, they are a 5mm shaft so you have to get either a 48p 5mm pinion or swap the spur out for a traxxas 32p or mod 1 item which is what I did.

The latest toro ts 120a combo is suppose to be a good setup too you can youtube it a guys fitted1 of 3 trucks with them and 2 with the toro sc version and has pulled them apart to give a detailed description of there internals and has stated there better engineered than alot of other brands theres a bluetooth module you can get for them or program box thats also a volt meter and tacho meter as well there around the $100-150 mark free shipped ww off ebay.

If you're racing, what Next edition said is way too overkill. A 8.5 or 10.5 motor should be just fine.
