Default help!!

i bought a arrma granite and upgraded to brushlesh equipment... motor, esc, and lipo battery pack... after a full charge if i take it out and run it, it runs great for a bit but then stops and it sounds like the gears are either out or one has slipt out of place or something!! the motor spins and the main gear spins but truck doesn't move.. i have taken apart the housing for internal gears and nothing looks broken or out of place... i cannot figure out what is wrong and could use some help!!!

Did you notice any smell of burning clutch?
Looking at a few Google images, it would say either your clutch is slipping or the pin inside the gearbox is broke.
Hopefully its just a slipping clutch. If its a slipping clutch, you may be able to get away with flipping the clutch plate over and tightening the spring down. It looks to be very similar to the traxxas setup.
If this fixes it temporarily, the spring is probably shot. That happen on my traxxas rustler. Rebuilt kits for my traxxas was about $8.

thanx for the reply and advice man.... it ran fine when i first got it, and then after upgrading to brushless is when i started having this problem... i do know that tower hobbies did recommend changing the gears when going brushless and i didnt... but i did notice if i picked the truck up and hit the throttle the wheels would barely turn so i wondered if it had something to do with the gears..

If the gear box is anything like the traxxas ones, its a broken pin on the inside of the gear box. On the rustler/bandit/etc, the pin on the spur gear shaft just inside the gearbox is the most common to fail if not a slipped clutch.
