Default TLR 22 Base gearing

I have a TLR 22 buggy and i want to step it up from 17.5 blinky to mod. I have a 6.5 Velociti motor. Where should i be for an indoor blue groove track? (RC Excitement, Fitchburg MA) I posted to their forum and got over 500 hits but no one wants to give up a decent place to start. any help would be greatly apretiated!

So TLR recommends 21/76 with a 6.5.
and Novak Recommends 10.5-11.0:1 Final drive. With a 76 spur that comes down to about 17t pinion.
Thats pretty far off from each other. Is anyone running Mod buggy with a 6.5 turn BL motor?

What are you all running for set ups? Motor/ESC/Boost/Noboost/ and gearing.

My Set up: TLR 22 - GTB esc (no boost)- Velociti 6.5r motor - and i think im going to start off at 20/76 see what happens.

Ended up finishing out at 22/76. Might go up to an 80 on the spur, and 23 on the pinion. But that's just cause the motor is just about bottomed out.
