Default SV3 vs traxxas VXL

Hey guys I have a question. I have a slash 4x4 and I'm running a sidewinder sct esc with the traxxas vxl brushless motor. my question is. Is the Castle Creations 1/10 SV3 Sidewinder SCT System 3800kV faster and better then the vxl? Or are they just about the same? I'm running just 2s lipo.

The velineon is a 2 pole 3500kv isn't it? The castle is a 3800kv 4 pole. So it should be a but stronger and of coarse faster.

Yeah so with the castle being 4 pole and higher kV it will be a bit faster. Not by much but still. Castle systems kick ass too.

I have it. The field card comes with a USB cord that u can plug into the computer too, all u have to do is download the software from castles website and it works just like castle link. I figured it out the hard way.
I bought the card bcuz I needed to switch from brushed to brushless and I needed to change the BEC voltage but u need to hook it up to the computer to change the BEC voltage. So a week went by the no response from castle and right as I was about to head to my lhs to buy castle link they emailed me and said the USB that comes with it did the same thing as long as u download the software off their webpage.
Oh and u can use the field card with the cc BEC too, just another program to download.
If u need any more help just ask cuz I have a MMP a ccbec and the field card so I have done it b4 haha

I feel the I needed to mention by rereading my post that I had no idea the USB could be used as castle link, I just thought it was another way to tune the ESC if ur battery was dead or something. Didn't dawn on me that the USB was for castle link to the PC. it was a long day leave me alone lol!!!
