Was wondering what opinions are out there on the best duel and quad batterie chargers to charge multiple types of batteries including lipo. Anybody got any suggestions ?

This is one of the best options out there. Typically, with chargers like the Hitec, you will be paying a lot of money and still need a power supply. This has one built in and is ready to be plugged into your wall.

Price seems about right...$50 for 50 Watts of charging power, average price of a single charger, times 4 = ~$200 Might have to put that on my short list.
    Just a schmoe....

What capacity and how many cells of batteries are you looking to charge?

For me, I like having individual chargers as opposed to a multi-port chargers that will charge two/four packs at once. That's just me, as I can't begin to think about something happening to one of the outputs going bad on multi-port charger.

    1. It's the whole "eggs in one basket" theory. If one port goes bad, you're down one port or in some cases the whole charger is "toast" ; either way the charger has to go for repair (if under warranty). With separate chargers, you can still go do your thing.
    2. The power requirements to run all multiple ports at full capacity can be excessive. With separate chargers...see "eggs in one basket" above
    3. A multi-port chargers with two or four ports will cost nearly as much as two or four single-port chargers.

Sorry, I don't mean to be a "buzzkill".
