Default Shocks for the Helion Animus?

Hey guys. I just picked up an Animus TR yesterday. I bashed 2 packs through it, and the bottom piece of one of the shock housings slid off somehow. The shocks seem a little crappy, so I'm wondering about cheap replacements. first, I found these:

I know they work for the mini recon, for which some people use the animus' shocks. Will these work, or are there other replacement options out there? Thank you.

Those shocks aren't much/not better than what you have. Helion does sell some aluminum ones though. You can find them here about 3/4 way down the page: http://helion-rc.com/animus18TR/parts.asp

Other options would be to get some real shocks that hold oil. The make some cool aluminum ones for the Mini Recon that should fit your truck. Check them out:

Awesome! I even found those same ones for 8 bucks cheaper on another site. I'm just wondering if they'll bolt right up, or if I'll have to purchase new ball joints and stuff.

To my knowledge, the ball cups should be the right size along with the holes on the shock caps. So yeah, they should fit. That's what I'd buy.
