esc cuts out than starts and stalls out again

Default esc cuts out than starts and stalls out again

i have a castle mamba 1/8 with 2650 kv motor buggy runs fast for about 3mins and starts to stall and cuts out , than starts again and stalls out,after afew seconds motor does not get really hot running 2 -2s batteries for 14.8 volt could i have a bad reciever ?
any experience with an esc ?

Any crazy chance you are in Alabama? I've got a friend who had that problem at the track yesterday. It seemed like the transmitter or receiver to him.

You don't have the Lipo LVC (low-voltage cutoff) engaged and are running NiMh batteries, are you? That would do it.

He said he's running two 2s packs.

Check your receiver's antenna and make sure that's in tact. If your not sure, try testing it with an ohm meter. Are the batteries in the transmitter good? ESC/motor plugged in correctly? Does the steering servo cut out at the same time the motor does?
