Brushed to Brushless conversion help!
Hey, is I bought a Volcano Epx Brushed rc car, and I'm converting it to a brushless setup. I've got the motor and the esc is coming in, but what else do I need to convert? Please list all things. Things the might wear down or might break or just need to be changed. please help!

You need a LiPO and a new charger as the stock one cannot charge a LiPO pack. Pretty sure those Volcano EPXs have metal transmission gears stock.

converted my sons Latrax SST to brushless, since the brushed motor kept eating dirt and couldn't handle a Lipo battery. stock gearing would be fine unless the test drive says otherwise.

Get an infra-red "no touch" thermometer for monitoring motor temps. It's the only real way to know if you have it geared right.
On a warm day, the motor should never get above 160-170F. Should run all day at around 140F or less. Motor temps above 180F run the risk of de-mag-ing the magnets or melting winding insulation.
