Default BZ-444 Pro

https://youtu.be/r64sG4u_GpI Picked up one of these from the cyber sale for a smoking deal. I think its decent for what I paid, but my experance is very limited on 10th scale buggy. Ive ran about 4 packs through it with out anything major happening, everything that has happened has been due to the lack of thread locker on the metal parts.

Since am new to the 10th scale buggy world, in the video above, I am not driving one of my buddies is, but we both agree that it lacks punch. Would it be better to remotor to a 8.5 (currently has 10.5), or tune the ESC to the current motor temputure constraints? I realize its a cheap system, but my though process is the 10.5 should get out of the hole faster than a lower turn motor because of more windings. I think most of my problem also is my lack of knowledge on "turbo" esc's. is there a trackstar for dummies thread I look at, everything I have seen, are folks just turning up the parameters and then complaining about temps. I dont understand turbo rpm, turbo acc, turbo slope (pretty much anything that deals with turbo).

Also is anyone familiar with teamC since this is a rebranded car? Ive seen a lot of info on the old 444, but not the pro, and this one has a different drive line and chassis. Just trying to figure out what model they copied.

Yeah, an 8.5 motor would be a very good choice for that vehicle. Yeah, I am. Team C, AKA Racer's Edge in America, all share a single supplier overseas. This buggy is just from that supplier but does not have the Team C or Racer's Edge nameplate on it. Pretty sure they copied it off this vehicle.
