Default Best $450 RC Truggy/ MT?

Hey! I am really looking for a $450 RC Truggy or Monster Truck. I most of the time race and drive around on my local playground (pretty flat gras/ asphalt)
But i also take my RC to vacations (mostly beach / mountains)

I am currently thinking of a:

HPI Bullet MT Flux 4WD
Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL
ARRMA Kraton 4WD (6S Lipo Stock)
Losi 8IGHT-T E 3.0
Traxxas E-Revo Brushless

Any suggestions left?

Best Regards, Renzo

Personally, the best option there is the E Revo, though it is the most expensive. The 8IGHT is more of a racing platform than bashing. The Kraton actually sounds like the best option. You can buy it on Tower Hobbies and take $60 off with the code "014R2." Though it now needs batteries.

Welcome to RCU.

Any of those would be a great choice. But, since you have a couple of 1/8 scale truggies listed (well one truggy, and one monster truggy )...that would be my choice of platform to jump into if you got the $$$. And if you got the space to run 'em, that would be a bonus. Putting a 6S LiPo pack in a truggy = stupid fast. I thought running a truggy using a 4S battery coupled with a 2100kv motor was stupid fast.

For $450 the kraton is closest to that price and maybe hpi?

The Revo is out dated but still fun and upgrades and write ups on how to improve them are everywhere ..

The losi truggy gas rtr is the only one close to $500 that's what I paid.

It's very tough and can handle bashing

You can't go wrong with any of them really.

I was warned-off the HPI Bullet Flux a few years ago as "a piece of crap". FWIW.
