Default I need a buggy

I bought a SCTE and set it up with a RX8 gen 2 and Pro 4 HD 4300 15T for a carpet track and I'm having a blast with it, but the only problem is there are only a handful of guys running this class so there aren't always enough to race, so I want to also build a 2wd buggy. I've never had a 1/10 buggy and thought I'd ask. I know the Losi 22 4.0 isn't out yet, but the two I'm interested in are the Losi 22 4.0 and the Xray XB2 carpet edition. I'm also interested in hearing with motor ESC combos are winners for these chassis. I already have a KO Propo RSx2 Response servo I can put in it.

I'd just walk up and down the pits, and see what everyone else is using. Mod class... pick your favorite brand.

I prefer rusty's approach as well. It's better to have roughly the same power and everything that way winning comes down to skill rather than who has the deepest wallet, makes victory much more enjoyable, at least to me.

"Certified" motors, 100+C packs, and lightened parts out the ying yang... deepest wallet theory?...you got that right .

sounds like a good deal, but I'll have to pass. Thanks though.
