Default T-maxx brushless conversion

I have a T-maxx I have been messing around with for a while. I have it close to ready to go but I am looking for suggestions on how to get the batteries in/on. Last thing I did was to put a smaller spur (and pinion) as the 72t just took too much room.

I realize a battery on each side would be good. What I am trying to figure out is what to hold the batteries with. Some kind of holder, elastic and velcro, I'm just not sure.
