Default Damaged/chipped ESC

Hi everyone,
A few days ago I was out bashing and a massive stone flew inside my car and unfortunately chipped the heatsink (I think) on my ESC, will this be a problem or will it not do anything? It's a stock Tamiya TEU-101BK.

It probably won't do much but i can't get the picture to enlarge to get a better look at it. Its kind of a weird design being that it doesn't have fins on it. Usually this small of a chip is fine as long as it didn't fracture the metal all the way to the inside of the esc. I would keep an eye on your esc temps for a while to be sure. If it starts to act up at all i would chuck it, no one wants a fire or a meltdown.

Battle scars...awesome! I have not seen that ESC before. The center looks like a ding to the protective cover. If it, the ESC, operates as it should, great. Keep going!

That's a heat sink?? Looks more like something the heat sink would mount to than something that is supposed to dissipate heat. Looks old as hell.

I'm pretty sure it's a heatsink. It's probably early 2000s
