Redcat Blackout - Impressed
Picked up a bunch of stuff at a garage sale and found a brushless car at the bottom of the bin. All four wheels were binded with weeds and brush. Got everything cleaned up and come to fid out both pinion and main gear were stripped. I had no idea what brand or model it was until I saw A Redcat decal on the Rx. Got lucky and found that it was their Blackout 4wd model. Ordered both bad parts and this thing screams with just 2S. Got a cheap aftermarket shell and totally happy with it.

Not sure, but they look alike. I think a lot of different brands get their stuff made at the same Chinese factory. Ive been impressed with some of the “no brand name” stuff they make. At a fraction of the cost you can afford to beat them up and replace components a lot more often than the expensive brands.

The time before this one, I picked up a Carlsberg Piper Cub complete with a Supertigre 61 and a FMS P51 brushless for 75 bucks. The P51 even came with a 4S lipo and DMS Tx. The Cub just needed the engine to be cleaned up.
Love garage sales.

I hit the lotto smgarage sale buy. Paid 60 bucks for a huge plastic bin inly knowing that there was a QX drone, a charger, and a Spektrux DX7. Come to find out, there were two QX drones, the Redcat, a Blade SR CP helicopter (it was wired wrong), a Blade 120SR (needs electronics), twenty something wheels/tires, four chargers (two NiCd/Nimh), and two really nice digital programmable Lipos, CF props, and other small stuff.
