Hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 ESC (1/10 120A Sensored Brushless ESC)
Hopefully this little speed control will live up to the durability, and performance of the other Hobbywing ESCs that I own. The Hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 caught my attention last year when my super low budget TSKY 120A speed controls were not lasting.
After looking at the specs, I think the Quicrun 10BL120 is the old Xerun 120A v2.1 in a red/black Quicrun livery. I could be wrong, but specs are the same, or better on the Quicrun. I have to mention the price tag of the Quicrun being about twenty-five dollars less than what the Xerun used to sell at.
Besides the price, the other thing that turned me on was the BEC voltage being 6V. A lot of my super low budget speed controls will only put out 5V on a good day. One volt not a big deal? Every little bit helps in the speed and torque department when it comes to servos.

Yeah, you can find them cheaper, but I wanted piece of mind having the Quicrun come directly from Hobbywing. I didn't want to wait two weeks, or more, for it to arrive with no warranty. Should you have a problem, knock on wood, Hobbywing has a strict policy on their ESCs and where you buy them from.

I've tried the 60A version of this esc and it's solid. Only problem is I can't secure the escs well enough and the esc comes undone and pulls the wires out, can't solder them back on since it's sealed. Also, I have tried to contact Hobbywing for an esc that I bought from Ebay that failed, and they wouldn't warranty it. Of course, the seller couldn't prove that he was an official Hobbywing dealer anyway.

I'm guilty of trying to save some money buying some Hobbywing items off of eBay. If I'm only saving a couple of bucks, I'll just buy straight from Hobbywing.
