I look forward to what you do with Traxxas platform and the upgrades being done to it.

After modifying the shock towers on a Kyosho Optima to accept longer shocks, and added some meatier tires, that was my start in making a 4wd truck reality come true. Broken chain links quickly told me to tone down the power/grippier tires. Sold that thing years ago. I can't wait to join the 4wd stadium truck group of RCers out there. It's been a reborn bucket list of mine since Ofna/HoBao Hyper 10TT came out. I don't know that I will get a 4x4 Rustler, but I'm glad it's out there to spark everyone's interest in 1/10 scale truggies/4wd stadium trucks.

I picked up my rustler 4x4 back in October. Ended up going with aluminum carriers front and rear, kingheadz motor mount, gtr shocks, fan for the motor and esc, stampede shock guards, traxxas cvds, sway bar kit, hitec 7955tg servo, center diff, and an aluminum steering bell crank.
Oh i also installed a set of duratrax six pack st rims and tires

It's a quick and fun truck.
So far I have only broke a front arm, 2 drive shafts(one plastic and one cvd) and one rear turnbuckle. Not bad for as hard as I have pushed it

Ordered 60K weight Diff fluid, for a good price then to ride to the Hobby store on this cold day, so I can check the diffs and replace from 30K to 60K while the rear says from the manual there is no fluid, just grease.

For the past 10 years, I've had my "head in the clouds" (4 & 6-channel helos, plus quad & hex-copter drones), but tall months ago, I "returned to earth", and picked up a Rustler 4x4 VXL. So far, I've done several upgrades, with a few more to be done. I kicked off the upgrades by replacing the stock turnbuckles (incl servo steering arm) with Lunsford titanium. Next, I replaced the C-hubs, steering knuckles, and rear carriers work STRC aluminum, and, most recently, I replaced the 2075 servo with a Hitec unit. I also have the STRC steering bellcrank set, but haven't yet installed (been super-busy with work). Next up will be too install the Futaba R304SB Rx, as well as a Tekin RX8 ESC & Pro4 3300kV motor. After that, is say the upgrades are pretty much finished...at least on this vehicle.

I say "this vehicle" because I've got three more projects being prepped. The first two involved in using a couple of Traxxas LCG pre-roller chassis - Slash 4x4 & Rustler 4x4. I've created parts lists for both, but haven't started ordering anything...yet. The third project, however, has nothing to do with Traxxas, as I've ordered (and it was delivered today, albeit to me work address) the just-released TLR 8ight-XE. Guess you could say, "The bug bit me bad." Anyway, glad to be back into surface RC (after a 40-year absence), and glad to be a part of the Rusty 4x4 crowd.
