Well let's see if you even get this after 8 1/2 years of no response. Yes I stil have my B & R Bullet Pro from 1992 or '93. It was one of my best motors when I was racing at our club track regularly. So was your dad the "B" or the "R"?

Well now I happened to catch this doing a search to see if anyone remembers B&R Motorworks lol I was the B of B&R up until 16 years ago. Bryan is my son and posted that years ago using my account. I knew many Daves in that fun sport. Where did you race?

Sorry, I never really got into this online R/C blog thing. I raced in Shreveport, LA. from 1992-1995. Hamel's Amusement Park had a track at the edge of their grass parking area. I never raced regionally or anything beyond our local track so I doubt we ever met. I have added a few B and R motors to my collection in recent years thanks to eBay.

Well I never raced but I ran a B&R with my Losi JRx2 back in the 80's. Now I just scored another one for a vintage Mugen Bulldog build I'm working on.

This is so awesome! I just got a vintage RC10 lot from my Son for my birthday and one of the gold pans had a B&R Bullet motor mounted on it
Would love to hear some history about them. I was never able to afford a nice hobby grade RC as a child, but now I am starting a nice collection of vintage 1/10 off-road.

History? I just built this up last month!

Proper motor break-in is essential for maximum performance:

What a blast from the past. I was actually sponsored by B&R back in 89 or 90. I have several motors still lying around...

Hello! I just signed up to say, I'm going through all my old RC stuff, started one of my nephews off with a car for xmas and Ive got the bug! Well Ive come across some motors and one is a B&R Bullet Pro. I know nothing about it, don't know where I picked it up either! I live in Wales, U.K. sounds like this motor is a long way from home!

Any info you could give me on it would be cool

I love the power of the internet! Bring people together and answering questions that would keep u up at night

I have a B & R motor on my Fox. I don't remember when I upgraded it in the eighties. I now have a 5 yr son and got it out during Xmas to play with it. Can you tell me the output of a B&R motor? Just wanted to know more about my set up incase I need to replace something. I have the stock plastic gears and saw that there are Thorp dirt beaters steel gears and wondered if my motor is too much for the plastic gears?

OK, I guess it's my turn to resurrect this thread from 2003 again.

Beavisthelizard, the Bullet Pro was a 40 degree Yokomo based stock motor with their wet magnets. I used it mainly in my LXT but sometimes in my JRX Pro. Great motor. Can't remember if it was a slotted armature, short stack or not.

RealPoe, I remember seeing the ad for the Bulldog in the magazines, RCModeler I think and maybe RC Car Action.

I didn't realize this thread was still going. That's how long it's been since I last logged in I guess. Good to know people are getting something out of it.

Sick81479, 32 B&R motors?! So you're the one buying up all of them on eBay! Time for a snipe bid.

Chase044, is it your turn?

You should be good now I’ve reach 190 b&r motors and bought the left overs from Barry so I’ve stopped buying all the b&r everywhere lol guys on Facebook were tagging me almost daily for a while and Barry singed couple decals for me before he shipped the box of motors/parts.
