Thanks.
I found the air filter in the box and it looks ok. Also found the t-wrench but that is all.
Hopefully with that kit it will be running.
Shame there are no instructions to tell you how to start it etc. I'll have a google about.
Will look at how much engines cost too.

PM received

I will have a good look at that pipe tomorrow. There is only a pipe going from fuel tank to the engine. I'll take a picture.

1st problem is the 2 main cogs, they are nowhere near each other and some cogs are slightly damaged due to this.

Quick, mention a bycmo or we'll get done for going way off topic....

hi ian
bycmo bycmo bycmo bycmo that should see us through to the new year [sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif]
to be honest i dont think anybody else reads this thread

you need to get a 56t spur gear
360242245478
thats the chaepest i found

when you put the spur gear on
undo the engine mounting screws under the chassis
then move the engine over
but leave a small gap between the spur and the clutch bell housing

hi ian
there should be a pipe that comes off the exhaust to the top of the fuel tank
as this is what feeds the fuel to the engine
by the exhaust gasses filling the fuel tank and pushing the fuel down
have you seen the nitro cars by bycmo they look very nice

Excellent, will check that ebay number out, have on look on youtube under rush evo, some good videos.
There is no pipe, will have a good look tomorrow.
Have seen pics of bycmo nitros, they do look good.

Ok Dus, been having a play about and ordered that large cog from the seller.
Can't see anywhere to move the motor over to reach the large cog better and all the holes appear to be counter sunk.
Just trying to figure out how it all works and seen a few videos.
Have found the part on the exhaust that goes to the fuel tank, just need a bit of pipe.. think I have some small breather type pipe in toolbox.
There are 2 holes on the tank so guessing that the other one needs to be blanked?

hi bycmo ian
the engine should unscrew slightly and when you tighten it back up just make sure it has moved oven it looks like it need to move about 2mm bycmo
yes the other side of the fuel tank needs to be blocked off bycmo

Yes b y c m o

Just hope it'll work propely.
It needs a bit of work and parts but hopefully it'll be worth it.
Glad I never got that crappy one now.
Was happy to sit and wait but then this came along.

Sometimes you can get a good bargain.. I take it you don't do car boots either then?

PS, I like your other halfs sig on truck site, it's gotta be pink.

hi ian mcbycmo
the only way it wont be worth doing it up is if you cant be bothered
its like anything in life the best thing since sliced bread when it works
but the worst thing ever when something goes wrong with it

look at it as a project like the bycmo bit by bit each week until its up and running
look at that i said bycmo and i meant to [sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif]

You are nuts Dus

Yes a little project, good idea.

Get your nitro out deffo yes.

Hopefully should have the 56T cog soon.

Will have a good look for a thread on here on the rush evo, did find one but it was only 2 pages long and quite old.
Could always start a new one.

EDIT: just got your PM.

So it's not very reliable then? should I be worried about mine being reliable?

My mate dropped phone in tea once DOH

Actually do you mean the phone working when it wants or the nitro?

Yeah, hopefully not a very expensive phone and not at the start of a contract or something.

Ordered that starter kit thanks for the link on that and got some fuel .
Some things I'm totally stumped on with this nitro...
