These are some new trucks then? would like to see a pic of them without the shells on.
Might get the truck bug and get a shell for the HSP cars
Would like a Aussi pick up truck shell a lot.
Lorry shell could look pretty awesome.
Remember you saying about the 2.4hz gear, we discussed it.

hi ian
yeah these are new trucks (new to us)
do you ever stop at motorway services
well these are the £20 set that are there
i got them as abit of fun at the truck meets
i think i may build some trailers for them
as i wont have the drift car untill we have a meet truck again
i think you should look into a truck shell and do some truck drifting
and get some videos of it

Sounds good dus, hope you get them back.
I started another thread on this site mainly about getting the power down on the HSP... the very fast motor has just caused problems realy.
May get a slower motor.
It's like modifying the Bycmos all over again.........
Don't like to do things easy.

The power of the Bycmo can't compete with the 15turn HPI motor and the Brushless is very quick.
The 18turn motor in the Bycmo is fast though.

Alright madmunkey,
The weakness is inside the diff, (the round black part that the driveshafts connect to)
This can easily be fixed by locking the box, to do this you take it apart and put chemical metal inside to lock the gears together.
You need to take it apart and put it back together after using the chemical metal straight away while it's fresh.
If you are stuck I'm sure me or dus can help.
By locking the diff you will also improve traction, this is like fitting a LSD (limited slip diff) to a real car.

thanks for dragging me into this ian LOL
hi mad munkey
i take it you got the car second hand
depending how well it was put together (i.e. has it been superglued ??
it shouldnt of been) then it should be easy to remove and replace
the grease method is a better way to go less risk of damage
LM2 lithium based is one that I would use about £1.80 a tube from the likes of B&Q
hope that helps
ps any photo's of your car?

have you got any more thoughts on the 6 wheeled bycmo?
also have you any thoughts on sorting out the rush?

The lads buggy is something else too.
As for the Rush, may be selling that.
Just think that electric is so easy to use, fix, and modify.
