Happy New Year.
Was looking at all our R/C car stuff the other day.
Having a sort out but would never sell the Bycmos.
Son has had a nice Nitro buggy now for a while now, we play with it over the car park.
Not used it for a month or so.
Hope all is well Dus.

Was having a sort out and saw all my old gear and thought of the fun banter we used to have on here.
Selling lots of stuff but like I said not selling the Bycmos.
What are you playing with now?
Sons nitro is great.
Can't remember the name but will ask him.

I fitted an hpi 15T motor, just be a bit more gentle on the throttle.
Batteries wont last as long either.

Hi y'all!! I too had to register to say thanks for sharing all that information. I have read all of the 81 pages of this thread, and I'm pleased that it's still up today.. ha ha... I was wondering if anyone knew if Mr.Sticky is still selling and shipping worldwide. I bought the car complete with the magazines and a few upgrades but it has the white gears and ...........you guessed it, they're stripped.. so i'd really like to get a new set of gears, I wouldn't mind if I could have a set of metal gears, but i'm still unsure which to buy. Also, 12 years has to be some kind of record for forum longevity..ha ha.... Thanks again for all the wisdom!!

Welcome SickNixon
I too would like to get some details on Metal gears for the Bycmo, i have installed a 15t motor and the thing FLIES just scared of stripping out all the plastic. I would like to also look at race balling the gearbox as the delrin bearings are not going to last too long i suspect

Welcome SickNixon.
Hello Lurch.
The plastic cogs are normally ok if you have a speed controller with a brake.
It's when it's trying to go into reverse that kills cogs.
That's what I found anyway

Hi guys!!! I am new here! does anyone know where can I find standard gear box or upgraded for DE AGOSTINI RC SUBARU Impreza WRC? I think its 2007 model. Just found it after many years and started refreshing it. I couldn't find the remote control but I bought a new one and pluged it to the car. It works ok but it has low performance. It might be battery but can also be the gear box cause I can see gears are a little bit timeworn.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hey guys, the past few month I have been rebuilding my Bycmo Subaru Impreza including installing a brushless motor and alloy upgrades. However, My spur and pinion gear are still the same. But I fear that a stone may get in between it and chip one of the gears off. Has anyone got any suggestions to how I can come across covering it?
