What kind of car, not brand

I think it may be the model that came before the sport 2, or it may be a modded (chassis) sport.

Calm down...try looking on Tower Hobbies and see if they have a match. If this is a older model of something, it is most likely that it will not be found on Tower Hobbies' website.

If it's got the old 3-gear transmission and a single belt, it's an original HPI RS4 from late 1995 or 1996. It came with parts to make it either 190mm or 200mm, back before there was a solid U.S. set of rules for the sedan class. I doubt you can get new parts for it anymore....if you're lucky, it might come with the Ferrari F355 body.

I used to have one way back then. HPI sure has come a long way, that car was a pain in the arse to put together properly. I traded it for a then-cool Yokomo YR4.

looks to be the original RS4 like stated before. I believe the only way it could not be that car, would be if someone has modified it.

i'll say it's a pro or a pro2 in sport package as the design is very similiar to that of the two, maybe a combi of both?
