Send them a nasty email... That's BS if a new body can rip like that with out a scratch to start it...

I would second that about contacting proline about that easy rip. I have not run my raptor body yet been using it for money shots till I fully wreck my old body. The old body still doing ok though is starting to rip some.

I sent JConcepts an email today. I don't really expect anything, but it would be nice if they would make the body with thicker lexan. My stock body was put through way more abuse than this body ever saw. As you can tell, the body barely has any signs of wear.

my next RC is gonna be a Losi Mini Rock Crawler Pro. i already have my old XL-5 ESC so all i will need to buy will be a brushed motor for it and a cheap servo from hobbypartz or hobbyking. just need to get enough cash in the PayPal account and i'll pull the trigger on this thing. i just want a crawler so bad!
Sweet! Actually, i have also always wanted a rock crawler...well scaler. the only problem with a scaler is that they are too dang expensive!!! thats why i've always wanted a rock crawler as an alternative.

I've got two different jconcepts bodies and that has never happened to me. You could of gotten a bad one. Its sucks no matter how you look at it. It looks like gpu spent air time painting it and that makes it suck even more.

I received a reply to my email to JConcepts. They asked that I send them an email copy of my receipt and they are going to replace it. That is what I call service. Thank you JConcepts!

I don't believe there is any way to tell until you take the tranny apart. It isn't very hard to do.

I would assume that if its running the brushless system its got the metal gears. but you won't know for sure until you take it apart.
