thinking about a trampoline. If i do it i and not going to puss out though. I am landing on the ground haha. But i just thought the trampoline for a test, but i dont think there is going to be a test for that [&:]. I am going to try some bigger jumps with both my pede and slash, get some new tires for both trucks and see what i can do. I have some bigger jumps in store before the house jump. The part i am worried about is hitting the jump and my connectors coming unplugged, or my receiver getting broken. I am kinda worried about the esc but it is a CC product [8D] that aint breakin.

Awesome. I've seen that video with the crazy jumps, and it was just a preview! Wonder what the full video would be like.

On a side note, even in Florida, this chilly weather has its effects on my tires none the less. I miss my traction :/

On my Pede I just drop my ESC in a balloon and zip-tied it to the plate it rest on. Then you can get a Traxxas 2056 or 2075 waterproof servo. The 2056 is 80oz of torque and the 2075 is 125oz. As for the receiver you can do just like the ESC and balloon it. Did that to mine and never had an issue. Worked out very well.

Hope this is the place to ask some Qs about the Pede... I mostly race my cars (1/10 el 4wd and 2wd) But i have a long way to the local track,so a "bash truck" would be nice... i have no experince about Traxxas cars and less the Stampede.. il be running 2s lipo and some 07 competition esc in this one. I know there is a search part in this forum, but so many threads and sides, its ot easy.

Extra parts , what will be needed.
Upgrades...what is the MUST have to get it bulletproof fore some real 2-4s action i mean the tranny..

WHere to get parts
Where to get upgrade parts

i hope i can get some real nice links , tips and tricks

best regards

Thomas

if youve got the cash go to www.rc-monster.com and find the flm pede section itll definitely be bullet proof, if you dont wana shell out a billion dollars, rpm makes great parts, although you WILL need to upgrade the tranny depending on what model you get.

okay i hade a major crash, and i need some parts, one part being the Caster blocks, and i have heard different things about them, like dont buy aluminim casue they will bend and i sure as heck dont wont the stock ones, so that leaves me with the RPM. I know that RPM is un breakable and all that stuff and after have exprience with them before, i know its some good stuff, but i was just wondering about these caster blocks if anyone had any problems if any?

Get aluminum caster blocks. Plastic ones bend and bend pins with them. It is alright to have bits of aluminum but not to much big parts.

I think im going to lower my stampede, using the fuel tubing in the shocks, so it doesn't roll over on fast turns

I did that before. Same method. I liked it for its stability, but I didn't like it because it restricted my stampede from being itself as a monster truck. I normally don't hear the underside of it smack the ground off of jumps, but it happened a lot more when I lowered mine. That's why its back to its old self!

On a side note... I EXTENDED MY STAMPEDE!!

Using someone's guide from the Traxxas forums, I was able to add just under 2 more inches of length.

If you want, here is the guide, written by rag6. Link: http://monster.traxxas.com/showthread.php?t=413031

all it is stampedin is nitro fuel tubing, can get like 3 feet of it for like under 5 dollars at your lhs, just the fuel tubing used on nitro rc's, im doing mine as we speak.

What do you guys think is a good shock oil weight for the stock shocks?
