Just run your truck untill its barly moving, that should do the truck, DO NOT: run your truck untill it wont move, that will mess up the batteries... Best of luck!

I have read on here that you dont need to discharge 3300 before charging, so after you run your heat race let them cool down before recharging. It also helps to peak your battery just before you run.

They should be stored discharged, but like pede said, you have a great discharger...your car. However, I do not recommend running the car until it barely moves...just until it noticeably slows down.

batteries do not stay at peak performance for ever, i do not discharge my NiMhs since they dont develop a memory, i just run them charge them run them and store them with a race run on them. DO NOT run your car down, this is work for the batteries and the motor, run it until you notice a speed decrease.. i run a 7 minute MAX practice run with 3300s.

GP 3300's are NiMH, which means that you won't get the memory that you'll get with NiCds. Don't worry about them, you won't notive a serious power drop. If you want the last .01 MPH out of your RC car, then go for it, but if you don't, it's not worth the time and effort.

I have one GP3300 6 cell pack for bashing

One 7 cell pack for fun racing

One 8 cell pack for racing

And one 10 cell pack for serious racing

I also have 15 assorted 1100-1700 mAH batteries from when I ran my old cars/trucks (can you say Nikko? [:@])

Throughout my RC "career", 15 of my battery packs died/lost performance. Can you guess which died?

like death said, nimh has no memory loss or anything like the nicds. the nimh can be charge without discharging them. the only thing is u will have to keep some charge in them when ur storing them away. but if possible, get atleast an equalising tray when budget permits, they will make sure u get equal charge to your cell all the time. i have cells that is probably 2 years now, althou i use them for practise runs, they will still kick some ass.
