K got my XXcr! What evader BX parts WONT fit it? I am loking at it and obviously the front brace and the rear tranny area is slightly different. What parts would I need to replace to bring it so it is 100% compatible with Evader parts?

Can you post some pictures of it with the body off? Ive never seen the XX buggies up close.


I know the transmition is different, the rear chasis plate is different, and I beleive the motor gaurd/motor mount plate and tranny brace is different.

Bassically youll have to replace the whole rear end, some parts might look different but as far as I know everything besides the rear end is a direct fit.

That's about right - the tranny brace and rear chassis plate are different, along with the tranny itself and the motor plate. The front brace and servo brace I'm not sure about (that's about the only parts that I never broke and tried to interchange with my old losi parts.

Most of the stuff that breaks will work - shock towers, a-arms, hubs, bulkhead, bumper, etc.

IF a front brace breaks, it looks as if I'd need a Evader bulk head,chassis, then the brace... which is no biggie to me. Now, if i want to fully convert if i break it, what in the rear would i NEED to replace with EVADER parts for it to be an Evader?

I don't know if the rear chassis plate will fit right on the losi chassis or not (might need some minor mods). With the evader rear plate, though, you'll need the evader tranny brace, tranny, motor plate, and motor guard. the only thing that's hard to get is the complete tranny. If you look at eBay stores, though, there's a store called moonyez that sells complete evader trannies taken from new cars.

With that tranny you really should get an aluminum idler gear (from the nitro evader) because the stocker will break like crazy on ya.

What I am trying to do is keep this thing fast with Graphite. As it is, its getting the TC Pro short and long shocks. They are about 5 times better than the ones on the Evader. I wanna go graphite on the main chassis, but then i gotta get a new bulk head and front brace. What rear end LOSI parts wont fit on a evader tub? That and will the Evader bods fit the XX w/o a prob? I mean they look almost 100% identical.

Im not shure about the parts as Ive never owned an XX/XXT, all I know is from what Ive read, but as far as I know the only rear end parts that are interchangeable are the suspension arms and shock tower, all the rest is a little different.

But for the body, the XXt body fits the evader ST like a glove so Id imagine the XX/BX would be interchangeable as well.

Plenty of victories with his nitro kyosho ultima this is what he posted in the official kyosho ultima thread "I won the 15 minute B-Main... came in 5th on the 25 minute A-main. No excuses... but man... I have never raced someone who was super familiar with the track more so than I was. I also realized that my servo horn on my steering servo was falling off. At least it held up in the B main hehe " So yea g'lck

Good luck beatin mine dude. You guys got the old XX Losi shock design, and I have Kyosho Twin Cap pros. It is a night and day difference, and the TC Pros are the way to go. No one can beat me in the stocker class, slap on a locked 24 degre and lets head to the track. We can run the same tires too if you want to get close racing. Now, tell me this... how many championships does the XXcr have with Kinwald driving? quite a bit, which is why I bought the buggy for 45 bucks . Adding 70 bucks worth of shocks oughta keep me up front with even the newer cars. One thing I like is, XXX parts fit on the buggy too, or so losi says. SAEWOT, your front tires are facing the WRONG direction. Those are directional treads, reverse them!
