Default Which one?

Im not thinkin of getting a car yet but maybe in the summer or a bit later I may consider getting a new tourer in place of my tt-01, ive been looking at used tc3's but the tc4 would seem better. I have got a few of them but seen as though im not very experienced which would be best, Associated TC4, HPI Pro 4, Yokomo SSG/Black Edition or Xray T1R

That's a tough choice! I'd say x-ray if you can get parts over there, if not the pro4 or tc4 would be a toss-up.

I say get the car that has moving gears and gizmoes!

Now would I make an ambiguous statement like that? Because no matter what car is lauded as the "national champion" (seems to be alot of national champions in one year and in several states...) your driving skill is what matters. However, factoring in parts availability, stress quality of the parts on the car, and ease of use, I would suggest a toss up between the Pro 4 and TC 3/4 as well. If you buy a car that you dont know how to setup and everyone else at your track runs another type of car, other than your own, you'll make things much more difficult for yourself.

A buddy of mine has a Barracuda and it looks uber sweet. A bit more exotic (expensive) than what you've listed, but then you get what you pay for.

I love the AlexRacing cars as well. I think they are a big hit over in Euroland. But getting parts for those cars is like trying to steal a bear cub from its mother. Other than that, they are as exotic as those SMP Slide cars.
