Im looking for an old 'midnight pumpkin' or 'lunch box'. Those things are just sooooo cool. I dont think I would drive it, but I would totaly have it out on display.

RE: RARE CAR!!!!
Any of those models can go for $100-200 in good used condition, but if you find/have one new in box with the shrinkwrap on, collectors will pay $500-700 for those.

yeah - the old tamiyas go for crazy money if they are still in the shrinkwrapped box. The car itself is only rare because most of them are either trashed or buried in someone's garage - they sold zillions of them.

RE: RARE CAR!!!!
Not to hijack the thread but does anyone know how much a Traxxas Trx-10 Bullet would be worth in good condition used
I have only ever seen 2 on the net and they never had prices (only one was for sale)

RE: RARE CAR!!!!
Nope, All it needed was a battery. The pic makes it look like the bright orange wheels are faded, but they are not. The Super Hornet looks new. Not even any scratches on the bottom. I also bought a HPI dash that was supposed to be a "roller" I wanted it to put a Cougar body on it for car shows. When I won the bid the seller said there was more there than he thought. For $27.50 I received a complete running car and radio, plus a brand new battery in the package, and a new set of BBS style wheels. Oh yeah and the charger too! Gotta love ebay.

Yeah, I also have one of the orginal Tamiya Hornets, My first R/C car. It's still a blast. Years ago you could get skis for the front to run them in snow. Should have picked up a set while I could. A buddy of mine has an old kyosho optima-belt driven 4 wheel drive buggy. Old school rocks.[sm=thumbup.gif]

Hehe, here we are in 2007 and I'm asking about the Rough Rider.
Are there any parts till available for this car? Or do I have to ask a mate with a lathe and milling machine....

RE: RARE CAR!!!!
That is why it is best not to drive them if found in working condition, as it will be considered an investment if you want to make some $$$ later on down the road.
